X-ten X-Lite / X-Pro

This is one of the better soft phones that we have tested. The lite version is fairly full featured and the price is right. This is the quickest way to get up and running with TalkLah's service until your hard phone arrives. NOTE: Do not try to use the # key to send a call as it will be interpreted as part of the phone number. Use the green phone symbol or the enter key instead.

 


STEP 1
Press the menu button (found to the right of the "clear" button in the middle of the phone).

STEP 2
Follow the menu, click on:           System Settings -> SIP Proxy -> [Default]

STEP 3
You need to modify only a few parameters from the factory default.

They are listed here:

X-Ten Configuration
  Display Name:
Enter your Full name, this will show up as part of your callerid. 
  User Name:
Enter the phone number you chose when you signed up for TalkLah service. 
  Password
Enter the password that you chose when you signed up for TalkLah service.
  SIP Proxy
sip.TalkLah.com
  Domain/Realm
TalkLah.com
  Send Internal IP
Always.
  Register
Always.

STEP 4
After changing the settings, close the menu window by clicking on the "X" button at the top right of the window.
