The New Face of Phone Service

The 1960's cartoon series The Jetsons is well known for its depiction of the revolutionary technologies of the future but when Jane Jetson placed a call over a video phone, the revolution was just beginning. Thanks to high-speed internet connections and VoIP service, that dream is now changing the face of phone service forever.
As calling capabilities have emerged beyond traditional switched line carrier networks to now include IP functionality, VoIP and internet phone service makes it possible to connect with people and make an internet phone call regardless of their location. Couple with this the ability to see the person on the other side, and you’ve got something more attractive than The Jetsons’ idea.
Video phone service allows traveling parents, classrooms, businesses, dispersed families and friends to have a face-to-face communication regardless of actual physical distance.
Beyond this phone service reducing phone bills and the need to travel, video phone service brings people together. And with the current inflation of gas prices, this feature added to a phone service can be extremely cost sensible.
Initial introductions of video phone service were not so attractive due to quality, cost and service issues. Choppy delays, expensive hardware and features that weren’t so easy to use were all hindrances that kept users from adopting the technology, but as internet connection capabilities and VoIP phone call have expanded to offer users faster, more efficient quality calling capabilities, good video phone calls are now possible.
Internet phone provider TalkLah offers as an added complement to its internet phone service with video calling a recommendation for eyeBeam, a SIP video soft phone they’ve tested and that will get users up and running quickly with their phone service.
Fresh on the heels of VoIP Service and its rapid expansion, video calls are putting a whole new face forward for phone service.
