Why doesn't my virtual number register with the sip proxy?
Problem:
My number is not registered
Solution:
1. Check the following items.

Make sure you have the correct VN and password
2. Disable any personal firewall. Personal firewalls like Norton Personal Firewall could be blocking sip ports from 5060 to 5069.
Blocked ports can also cause one way audio.
3. Disable Windows XP firewall Windows XP has a built-in firewall that could also be blocking these ports.
In order to verify if your Firewall is enabled follow these steps:
a) In Windows, right click on my network places and select PROPERTIES.
b) Once in the Local Area Connection properties window, Click on the ADVANCED tab.
c) Under windows firewall click on SETTINGS. This will open de firewall settings window.
d) set the firewall to OFF.
If you do not want to Disable your Windows XP Completely
a) In Windows, right click on my network places and select PROPERTIES.
b) Once in the Local Area Connection properties window, Click on the ADVANCED tab.
c) Under windows firewall click on SETTINGS. This will open de firewall settings window.
d) Once in Windows firewall, click on the EXCEPTIONS tab.
e) Under PROGRAMS AND SERVICES look for the X-lite check box and make sure it is checked.
